WARRANTY POLICY (Effective Date: date of device setup)

At DoorBlockade, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our security products. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, terms, and conditions under which we provide warranty services for our products. We offer a full replacement warranty for the first year and lifetime parts replacement thereafter, ensuring that our customers receive continued support and protection against defects in materials and workmanship. This document details the process for making a warranty claim, eligibility criteria, and limitations of coverage. Please review the following terms to understand your rights and responsibilities under this warranty.

1. Warranty Coverage:

DoorBlockade (“Company”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Customer”) that its DoorBlockade security device (“Product”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and maintenance, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Full Warranty Coverage: First 12 Months (1 Year)

If any part of the Product is found defective due to materials or workmanship, DoorBlockade will provide a full replacement of the Product at no cost, including shipping.

Lifetime Parts Replacement:

After the first year, the warranty extends to cover replacement parts for the Product for the lifetime of the Product.

DoorBlockade will provide necessary replacement parts for free.

2. Warranty Eligibility & Transferability:

This warranty applies only to the original purchasing institution (e.g., schools, educational facilities, or other institutions) and is non-transferable.

The warranty does not cover resale, secondary owners, or third-party entities outside the original purchasing institution.

3. Exclusions & Limitations:

This warranty does not cover the following:

- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper setup, or unauthorized modifications.

- Acts of nature, including floods, fires, earthquakes, or other external forces.

- Cosmetic damages that do not affect functionality.

- Any repairs or modifications made by unauthorized parties.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim:

To request a warranty service, Customers please contact the DoorBlockade team at info@doorblockade.com with a description of the issue and photos.

5. Warranty Remedies & Limitations:

DoorBlockade reserves the right to repair, replace, or offer an equivalent substitute for any defective product or part.

Under no circumstances shall DoorBlockade be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or property damage.

The warranty is limited to the remedies outlined above and does not extend any implied warranties beyond those required by law.

6. Compliance with Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act:

This warranty is issued in accordance with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.) and complies with all applicable Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations.
